IWeb School Nurse Module User Guide

School Nurse User Types

There are four different user access levels that enable different menus/options in the application. The access levels are:

School District Client
School Nurse
School Nurse Coordinator
School Nurse - Facility

School Nurse users are created by the state IIS administrator. To create a new School Nurse user, select Administration > User Management > Search/Add Users. Add the new user and assign the appropriate user access level and permissions. See User Management Settings in the IWeb Administrator Guide for more information.

Each School Nurse user type has access to different functionality within the application, based on user permissions. The following tables outline the permissions and menu options available to each School Nurse user type.

If this permission is assigned, no other permission can be assigned at the same time.

Each School Nurse user type requires a school and/or district association, as follows:

School District Client - Requires a district to be associated with it. Limits users to select schools within a given district ONLY
School Nurse User - Requires an associated school, but is not limited to a particular school district
School Nurse Coordinator - May be limited by district or county, but it is not required. This user may be considered a Super User for the School Nurse Module. Alternatively, this user can be assigned the Reports Only permission, which limits the School Nurse Coordinator role to one that monitors overall reporting and messaging management to School Nurse users for statewide functions versus managing individual student data
School Nurse - Facility User - The purpose of this user is to limit the type of facility, such as school, daycare, or Head Start. The type of facility must be assigned to the user
